LUSH Haul!

Yes, another haul. I did warn you!

I went into LUSH for the first time in forever. I didn't really go in for anything in particular but I did want to try a couple of products I hear about all the time: The Comforter Bubble Bar and Honey I Washed The Kids Soap.

I've already used The Comforter and it is lovely! It made my bath bubbly and pink but didn't stain the bath so I didn't have to spend ages cleaning up. It was reasonably moisturising. The smell is what makes me love this most, though. I have it in a drawer by my bed just now and I can always smell it when I'm in bed. Yum!

I've not tried Honey I Washed The Kids yet. I don't know what it is about solid soaps but I never really like them as body washes so I'll need to get back into using them again.

I had a look at some of the new products they've got in for Christmas and picked up a chunk of Snow Globe soap and a lip scrub in Pow Wow.

Snow Globe smells lovely and citrus-y. It's not what I'd expect from a Christmas collection, though.

The lip scrub is a winner for me! I love it. It smells like Lime Opal Fruits (does anyone remember these?) and has popping candy in it! It does a great job of exfoliating my lips, too.

On a side note, the assistant who served me was absolutely terrifying. I'm not a total LUSH know-it-all but I do know what I like/don't like and I don't like it when assistants try to sell me everything in the shop. He was new and very enthusiastic. He described everything as 'phenomenal' and demonstrated the lip scrub by rubbing it all over his bright pink lips and seductively licking it off. EWW! It was definitely off putting. He also told me I seemed like the sort of person who liked obnoxious soap. Nice!

Are any of you fans of LUSH? What are your favourite products?

  1. I am a HUGE Lush fan Stace! I don't like all of their products, but the ones I do like-I love and keep buying! Honey I washed the kids smells delish, I havn't used it in a while but since reading this I might pop and get some :)

  2. I loved your tale about the Lush shop assistant, I am all for people loving their jobs but that is a bit OTT! My pet hates are pushy sales assistants or at the other end of the scales, the ones who just can't be bothered. I do love Lush though, I had a smell of the Pow Wow the last time I was in and I will be picking some up soon. I bought the Bubblegum lip scrub, but not tried it yet x
