My Top Five: MAC Lipsticks for Autumn

Whilst I do love a bright lip in the summer months, I tend to stick to gloss as it's quicker and easier to apply. In the autumn I usually start wearing more lipstick again. I thought I'd share the MAC lipsticks I'm looking forward to wearing in the coming months.

Viva Glam I

This is my perfect red. Since it's a matte finish it lasts a long time on me so it's great for nights out. I like it paired with a gloss too, though. I like that the proceeds go to a good cause so I'd recommend that everyone pick this up!

Viva Glam Gaga II

This was the first nude lipstick I ever picked up. I know it won't be for everyone but I love it on my lips when I've done a dramatic eye look. It's just a few shades darker than my skintone (NC30ish). I usually wear this one with a gloss on top.

Rebel

This is a permanent shade which is currently being promoted with the MAC Me Over collection. When I saw it on Temptalia, I needed to have it in my life. It's a lovely dark warm berry pink shade.

Dubonnet

After Viva Glam I, this is my second favourite red. It lasts forever on me too so it's definitely a staple in my collection.

Purdeaux Slimshine

This is a discontinued product now but I'm sure there are dupes out there, particularly from the Revlon Colourburst line. It is a deep berry shade which is lovely and shiny.
