A Little Weekend Haul - LUSH, No7, Revlon & Urban Decay

I popped into the city centre today to return some clothes (damn Primark and everything being oddly sized!). I picked up two of these dresses from H&M; they're my new favourite things! I already have one in black and it's so comfy and flattering on me. I picked the thicker blue striped one and the blue and red striped version. They're total bargains at only £7.99 each, too.

Aside from the dresses, I picked up some beauty related items. I've been pretty naughty this month so far in terms of beauty shopping but I suppose I did sell quite a bit of unloved make up on my blog sale so that makes up for it a little bit.

I popped into LUSH and managed to leave with the two items I went in for and not ten other things I didn't really need. They still had some of their Christmas products on sale (if anyone's interested) but I decided against picking up anything else.

I got a Fresh Face Mask in Catastrophe Cosmetic (link) because I've not had one in forever and I really like this particular mask. Some of their masks are quite harsh on my skin but this one is nice and moisturising.

I also picked up a big tub of Almond & Coconut Shower Smoothie because this stuff is amazing to use when I'm shaving my legs. I got a little pot of this in a Christmas gift box. I don't like it as a shower gel but it leaves my legs feeling so smooth when I use it as a shaving cream. I can't find this on their website right now but I believe it was around £7 for 250g.

I headed to Debenhams next because I'm completely addicted to the Urban Decay Lip Junkie lip gloss I got with my Naked2 palette. I picked up a full sized one in the shade Wallflower (link) which is an opaque warm pink. I cracked open my back up of MAC Bare Slimshine today and it's gone off...I should have expected that but I was still gutted! Wallflower is a very similar shade.

I also picked up the Lush Lash System (link) which was £28. I've only heard good things about this product so I've been planning on buying it for some time. I hope it works for me! Watch out for a review within the next few months.

Finally, I ended up in Boots. I have so many of those £5 off No7 vouchers; I was going to pick up some more Quick Thinking Face Wipes but then I spotted their new BB Cream (link). I went for the Normal/Oily formula in the shade Medium. The shade range is limited but they do cater for three different skin types which is nice. This retails for £12.95 but I paid £7.95. I'm going to try this over the next week so the review will be up soon!

I spotted an offer on Revlon Just Bitten Lip stains (link) so I picked up another one. I went for the shade Frenzy. This was £5.

Did you do any shopping this weekend?

Stace xx

  1. Those lip stains don't work on my because my lips are so dryy, they just melt into the cracks haha lovely!! Really interested to see what that Lush Lash system would be like, i have stubby eyelashes so would love something that makes them grow :)

    1. Oh no! I'm lucky in that I rarely get chapped lips. I think it's because of the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - I put it on every night before bed. Maybe you should give that a try? There'll be a review on the Lush Lash System once I've had time to try it out (they claim I'll see results in two, four and six weeks) xx
