No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream

If you read my haul post from Sunday, you'd know that I picked up the new No7 "BB Cream". I paid £7.95 because I had a £5 off voucher. This normally costs £12.95 (link).

One of the major plus points about this product is that it comes in a range of formulas to suit different skin types; normal/oily, normal and dry. Each formula comes in a fair and a medium shade. I went for the normal/oily formula in the shade medium.

The shade is an okay match for me. It's possibly a little bit too dark for me right now. The formula is nice, it's not too greasy. As you can see in the photos it leaves a little bit of a sheen.

No7 describe this product as being 'one simple step which provides a flawless healthy complexion for a beautifully bare make up look'.

I have to say, I completely disagree. This does not make me look anywhere near flawless. My skin is okay - I have a little redness, the occasional spot and some scarring on my chin. I usually use a light to medium coverage foundation with a good concealer.

I tried applying this with my fingers and with a brush. Both times I found I had to use a lot of product and the end result was so disappointing. It seemed to actually accentuate my uneven skintone.

In all honesty, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone unless they had absolutely perfect skin already. This is nothing like the Asian BB creams, it's much more like the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector which came out in the summer.

Have you tried this product? Did you have more luck with it than me?

Stace xx

    1. You're welcome! Some people may like it - those who liked the Garnier BB Cream probably will. But it just did nothing for me at all!xx
